After two delays last week, Sea Launch once again halted the launch of the XM-3 satellite for XM Satellite Radio. According to a post on the Sea Launch Web site, the launch was halted Feb. 22 at approximately seven minutes before liftoff due to “an out-of-specification condition” that was identified on the Zenit 3SL launch vehicle. The company said the rescheduled launch will occur no earlier than Feb. 25. The launch was delayed twice last week due to adverse ocean conditions at its equatorial launch site.
