According to a Feb. 22 report by Asia Pulse, the launch of the Telkom-2 satellite for PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk has been delayed until April 15. The satellite was initially scheduled to launch Feb. 14, but was delayed because it did not have a partner to join it during the launch. An Ariane 5 rocket will orbit the spacecraft. An official from PT Telkom said the rocket is large enough to carry multiple payloads and launch services provider Arianespace wants to have a co-passenger for the launch.
