WCBS TV New York reported on its Web site Feb. 20 that a celebrity and gossip columnist for Steppin’ Out magazine has received a subpoena to discuss his knowledge of the signing of shock jock Howard Stern by Sirius Satellite Radio, as the Securities and Exchange Commission investigates possible insider trading stemming from that contract signing. Steppin’ Out reported in its column that Stern would likely move to Sirius about two weeks prior to the official announcement. The columnist is a regular guest on Howard Stern’s radio show.
