EMS Technologies said its satellite network division signed a contract with Morsviazsputnik for a DVB-RCS system to be installed in Russia. The DVB-RCS product and technology solutions enable two-way broadband access for a wide range of networking applications ranging from simple Web surfing to virtual private networks, wireless networking, video conferencing and voice-over-IP. Financial terms were not disclosed.
