BellSouth said Feb. 16 that it added more than 200,000 DirecTV satellite television subscribers since it began offering the service in August 2004.

“This significant milestone is evidence that BellSouth customers are looking to bundle their communications and entertainment services with one provider,” BellSouth President of customer service said in a prepared statement.
