EMS Technologies Inc. said it has appointed Russ Gordon as the account manager for commercial sales in the Western United States for the company’s Satcom division. Gordon brings 20 years of sales and marketing experience specialized in the aviation industry. He most recently worked at Chelton Inc.

“We are extremely proud to have Russ on our team,” EMS Satcom General Manager and Senior Vice President Neil Mackay said in a prepared statement. “With the increasing demand for our high-speed data products and looking forward to Swiftbroadband availability in 2006, he will help us grow our business in the commercial and corporate broadband satellite communications market.”
