Comsat International Inc. said its Comsat Brazil subsidiary won a public auction to build, operate and mange the communications network for the national lottery and transaction clearinghouse network in Brazil. Comsat will operate the national lottery network under a five-year, $108 million contract. The project will be comprised of an integrated satellite and terrestrial managed network.
