ND SatCom won a key European defence contract. It signed a deal with the Swedish Armed Forces to aid them in their future communication needs. ND Satcom will supply them with a turnkey satellite communications system for use within its network. The system offers classical telephony, fax and data services, as well seamless IP interconnection, even under extreme environmental conditions.

Delivery of the system will take place in the 2005/2006 timeframe. ND SatCom CEO Harald Reder was delighted with the deal. He commented, “Sweden is one of the leading nations in the process of military transformation. Our proven technology will provide reliable communications links for the Network Centric Operations Framework of the Swedish Armed Forces.”
