Inmarsat Shifts Analog Traffic Over Indian Ocean
Inmarsat announced that it will begin operating its Inmarsat Aanalog voice and data service over its Indian Ocean-East satellite located at 109 degrees East beginning Feb. 19. Service in the region is currently carried by the company’s Indian Ocean Region satellite at 64 degrees East. The change only affects Inmarsat A customers and may require users to re-point their antennas to continue to receive service.
