According to a Jan. 20 report on Newsday.com, an internal memo circulated at Cablevision states that company chairman Charles Dolan may try to buy that company’s Voom satellite television service. Cablevision’s board has directed the company to either sell the Voom service, which has about 26,000 subscribers and has been losing money or close down operations.
