Foxtel, the Australian satellite pay-TV operator, has restructured its marketing department by merging its television and marketing operation into one unit. Foxtel’s marketing department will now be divided into general management & subscriber marketing, brand & creative and communications. Richard Howarth has been appointed as general manager of marketing at Foxtel and will oversee Foxtel activities in terms of subscriber management, advertising agency management and media etc.

In another appointment in this area, Foxtel has announced that it is promoting its television creative director, Antony Warne to a new role of brand and creative director. Warne’s responsibilities will include the development and management of Foxtel’s advertising campaigns.
