Russia and India will be collaborating on a satellite navigation project. According to a story filed on newkerala.com on Dec. 2, India will become an “equal and sole partner” of Russia in that country’s development of the Global Navigational Satellite System (Glonass). The agreement will be signed today, giving India access to the navigation systems in both peace and war time situations. India has already pledged 300 million euros to the development of the European Union’s Galileo satellite navigation system, but that pledge does not preclude them from assisting in the development of other satellite news.
