The Boeing Co. and the U.S. Air Force late yesterday said that everything is ready for the inaugural launch of the new Delta 4 heavy rocket, which will take place from the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, FL, on Dec. 10 at 2:31 p.m. EST. According to Boeing, the Delta 4 heavy rocket is the most powerful rocket since the Saturn 5. The rocket is flying a demonstration mission for the Air Force EELV program.
