By Staff Writer | October 28, 2004

EchoStar Communications Corporation [DISH] and its DISH Network [DISH] satellite TV service will broadcast separate documentaries favorable to both front-running U.S. presidential candidates.

“George W. Bush: Faith in the White House” and “Going Upriver: The Long War of John Kerry” are available through Nov. 3 on channels 463 and 464 to more than 10 million customers subscribing to DISH On Demand Pay-Per-View. The Bush feature portrays the president’s faith and prayer life, and shows his unseen side — from his childhood in Midland, Texas, to his time as governor of Texas, and into his role as the nation’s chief executive. The Kerry documentary discusses character and moral leadership during a time of national crisis. The film emphasizes his bravery during the Vietnam War and his opposition to the war upon his return.
