XM Satellite Radio [XMSR] was included on the list of finalists in a number of categories in the first annual Billboard Digital Entertainment Awards. XM CEO Hugh Panero is in contention in the “Innovator of the Year” category, and the satellite radio company as a whole is up for awards in the “Brand of the Year,” “Best Radio Service” and “Digital Music Innovation Of The Year” categories. Winners will be announced Nov. 5.
