The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) reportedly is looking into an incident in which a Toshiba television triggered an international search and rescue signal Oct. 4. The federal agency is looking into whether the trigger resulted from an anomaly in the lone television or whether it is a more systemic problem in involving other Toshiba televisions.
