Hughes Launches VPN Solution

Hughes Network Systems Inc. unveiled a satellite-based virtual private network (VPN) acceleration solution. Based on the IPsec standard, the company’s DirecWay VPN Accelerator enables enterprises and government agencies to implement uniformly efficient and secure wide area broadband networks, allowing workers anywhere access to their networks.
