Hauppauge, N.Y.-based Globecomm Systems [GCOM], a provider of end-to-end satellite-based communications, today was awarded two satellite infrastructure contracts valued at approximately $3.6 million. The first contract is with a repeat U.S. government customer, while the second is with a video-broadcast customer in India. Globecomm will provide both customers with turnkey satellite uplinking infrastructure.
