Sirius Satellite Radio [SIRI] named Michelle McKinnon senior director of investor relations. She will be responsible for communication of all investor-related matters, including managing relationships with buy- and sell-side analysts. She brings to Sirius more than 11 years of investment banking and sell-side research experience.

DigitalGlobe Inc.‘s new general counsel is Bettina Eckerle. She most recently worked at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, where she spent five years serving domestic and international corporate clients in mergers and acquisitions, finances and general corporate matters.

Canadian Satellite Radio (CSR) appointed Stephen Tapp president and COO; he will oversee the company’s efforts to obtain a license from the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission and, if the license is granted, he will direct the launch and manage CSR’s operations in Canada.
