HNS, GTSI Offer Feds Broadband Capabilities

Germantown, Md.-based Hughes Network Systems and GTSI [DTSI], inked a deal to provide satellite broadband services to government users. Using the DirecWay service provided by HNS, GTSI would be able to give its customers broadband services that meet the U.S. government’s network security and reliability standards. The broadband service would be used, in part, to distribute sensitive, customized information to federal, state and local government agencies.
