ViaSat Inc. [VSAT] appointed John Stenbit to its board of directors. Stenbit was assistant secretary of defense for command, control, communications and intelligence, serving during the current Bush administration. According to ViaSat, Stenbit led the transition to information-centric warfare, including creating information systems to support intelligence operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.
