The Japanese government reportedly is planning on spending about $635 million on two spy satellite missions, Satellite Today has learned. The first mission, set for sometime next year, would launch a satellite designed to take high-resolution photos of the ground. The second mission, scheduled for 2006, would analyze topography with radar.
