Merrill Lynch renewed its contract with Convergent Media Systems for another five years, making Convergent the exclusive satellite communication services provider to the financial giant in the United States and Puerto Rico. Under the terms of the agreement, Convergent will manage the satellite network for Merrill Lynch’s multiple proprietary television channels, and it will distribute broadcast-quality content to desktops and conference rooms throughout Merrill Lynch’s executive offices and retail branches. Financial terms of the renewal deal were not disclosed.
