PanAmSat Sale Closes Tomorrow

Affiliates of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P., The Carlyle Group and Providence Equity Partners Inc. are scheduled to acquire The DirecTV Group’s equity stake in PanAmSat tomorrow. In anticipation of that, PanAmSat Corp. closed its merger with PAS Merger Sub Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The DirecTV Group Inc. [DTV], and its shares have been delisted from Nasdaq.
