Harris Corp. [HRS], Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., and Rockwell Collins Government Systems recently demonstrated a first-ever, small- diameter, multi-function advanced data link prototype antenna that received signals from military communications satellites accurately. The specialized phased-array antenna is smaller than three inches in diameter and, according to the companies, is ideal for use on military fighter jets.
