Alaska Awards WCC Contract For State Government Communications

      The World Communications Center (WCC) won a contract from the State of Alaska to provide satellite voice and data communications for the state government and state agencies. The initial contract expires in 18 months, but it contains options to renew for as many as five years. WCC will provide satellite services offered by Iridium to meet the terms of the contract, whose value was not disclosed.
