Sarantel was awarded a contract by Eurocom Telecomunicazioni to provide it with Sarantel’s GeoHelix GPS miniature antenna. Eurocom will incorporate the antenna into its automatic person location system (APLS) lapel microphone. Eurocom is targeting police and security forces with this device to allow them to be tracked when they respond to an emergency.
