DigitalGlobe said the Mississippi Department of Maritime Resources will use satellite imagery provided by DigitalGlobe’s QuickBird satellite in a suite of geographic information systems to help manage and protect a variety of coastal maritime resources while at the same time promoting economic growth. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
