EchoStar Communications Corp. [DISH] officials today said that the company would offer local channels to Dish Network direct-to-home satellite broadcasting service subscribers in the Joplin, Mo./Pittsburg, Kan., area. The channels include the local affiliates of ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, and PBS.
