New Skies Strikes Deal With Greek IP Service Provider

New Skies Satellites N.V. [NSK] signed an agreement with Greek IP service provider and teleport operator Com-ToNet S.A. for a full transponder on the NSS-6 satellite. Com-ToNet, in collaboration with KB Impuls Hellas S.A., will use the Ku-band transponder capacity to offer broadband connections to the European Internet backbone for corporations, government agencies, telecommunications companies and ISPs operating in the Middle East. No financial details were disclosed.
