Globecomm Systems Inc. [GCOM] appointed Jack Shaw to the company’s board of directors. Shaw is a former president and CEO of Hughes Electronics Corp., and he still serves as a member of that board. Shaw also serves on the boards of XM Satellite Radio [XMSR] and Guidant Corp.
