WildBlue Taps KoSpace To Produce Consumer Broadband Satellite Equipment

      Officials from WildBlue Communications Inc. and KoSpace today said that the companies have signed an agreement under which KoSpace will produce Ka-band transceivers for WildBlue’s consumer and small office/home office broadband Internet service customers. The transceiver will contain the electronics in WildBlue’s small, 26-inch satellite dish antenna, which will transmit and receive data wirelessly from WildBlue’s satellite to the customer. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
