ORBIMAGE Announces Plans For SEC Registration

Dulles, Va.-based ORBIMAGE finally will register with the Securities And Exchange Commission (SEC) in the next few months, which will make accessing the company’s financial information a bit easier. According to CEO Matthew O’Connell, “Our stock trades publicly on the ‘pink sheets’ … so we are not subject to the usual reporting requirements, and investors can’t go to the SEC Web site, EDGAR, to find the usual periodic reports. Nevertheless, we expect to be registered with the SEC in a few months.”
