Sprint [FON] officials today said that customers in its 18-state local telephone operating territory now can subscribe to Dish Network direct-to-home satellite television service directly through Sprint. The deal makes the carrier a single source for local and long-distance wireline telephone service, high-speed Internet access, wireless communications and multichannel video service. Sprint Solutions and Sprint DSL customers will receive a discount on Dish services.
