Gilat Satellite Network Ltd. [GILTF] said its U.S.-based subsidiary, Spacenet Inc., has been chosen by Fazoli’s Management Inc. to provide a Connexstar broadband satellite network to Fazoli’s Italian restaurants in 33 states across the United States. Under the terms of the three-year agreement, Spacenet will deploy the service in 150 corporate restaurant sites. The deployed network will support a range of retail networking applications, including point-of-sale polling, fast credit- card authorization, remote systems-management tools and corporate intranet applications. Financial terms were not disclosed.
