Officials from Comtech EF Data Corp., a subsidiary of Comtech Communications Corp. [CMTL], today said the company received a $1.2 million order from an unnamed cellular service provider in Southeast Asia. The order is for satellite modems and transceivers that will be used as critical components in the expansion of the provider’s GSM network.
