Intelsat‘s John Stanton said at Mediacast today the operator is set to announce a deal with a service provider to launch a nationally available satellite broadband service in the United Kingdom. Stanton would not disclose the identity of the player but he did say the company was “no minnow.” Stanton is the president of Intelsat’s data, carrier and Internet business unit.
