MDU Acquires Direct Satellite Inc.

Officials from MDU Communications International Inc. [OTCBB: MDTV], an end-to-end provider of DirecTv and other telecommunications services, today announced that the company has reached an agreement to acquire the business assets of Direct Satellite Inc. Direct Satellite is primarily a private cable operator serving 4,400 video and 400 high-speed Internet subscribers in 15 multi-family properties. DSI also provides DirecTv service to 100 subscribers in 10 other multi-family properties. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
