Pace Prepares For Satellite TV STB Rollout

Pace Micro Technology [PIC] will launch Premiere digital satellite set-top boxes (STBs) in later this month. The DS210(a) reportedly will be the smallest digital satellite STB in Germany, measuring in at 3.5 cm in height, 14 cm in depth and 22 cm in width. Pace’s product will provide access to Premiere’s multi-channel pay- TV programmers and Germany’s free-to-air channels. It also includes Near-Video-On-Demand and multi-angle TV along with an extended Electronic Program Guide.
