Stratos Names New CFO

According to executives at Stratos Global Corp. [SGB], Alfred Giammarino will assume the duties of executive vice president and CFO as of May 10. He will be responsible for all financial and investor- relations affairs and activities for the company.
Giammarino has more then 27 years of finance, operations, investor-relations, and merger-and-acquisition experience, most recently serving as senior vice president and CFO for Verizon Communications Inc.‘s International and Information Services. He also served as a senior vice president with GTE Corp.
