New Skies Reports 1Q Drop In Net Income
By Staff Writer | May 5, 2004
New Skies Satellites N.V. [NSK] today reported net income of $100,000, down from $3.6 million during the same period in 2003. The drop was attributed to increases in operating expenses, coupled with higher depreciation charges arising from the launch of the NSS-6 satellite. Revenues remained relatively consistent, with $51.9 million earned in first-quarter 2004, compared with $52 million in first-quarter 2003.
