Telkonet, Hughes Sign Co-Marketing Agreement

Telkonet [TKO] officials today said the company signed a co-marketing agreement with Hughes Network Systems. Both Telkonet and Hughes can offer a total Internet solution throughout multi-unit buildings using Hughes’ DirecWay broadband Internet access via satellite and Telkonet’s PlugPlus system. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Hughes Network Systems is a wholly owned subsidiary of The DirecTV Group Inc. [DTV].
