The Carlyle Group, a large private equity firm, purchased satellite service provider Kingston Inmedia from Kingston Communications for $60.3 million in cash.Kingston Inmedia delivers enterprise, broadcast and Internet solutions to business customers using satellite-based technologies. In 2003, the company had revenues of $59.4 million along with EBITDA of $10.1 million.
