Sea Launch Co. LLC said its floating Sea Launch platform arrived at its launch site at the equator, and it is on schedule to send DirecTV Inc.‘s [DTV] 7S broadcast satellite into orbit via Sea Launch’s Zenit-3SL launch vehicle. Space Systems/Loral built the 7S satellite for DirecTV. The two-hour launch window opens May 4 at 5:22 a.m. PDT.
