Sirius Satellite Radio [SIRI] reached an agreement with STMicroelectronics to produce and integrate Sirius’ next-generation chipset for its satellite radios. The new chipset, which was designed by Sirius in conjunction with STM, will result in lower costs, improved performance and enhanced features for Sirius satellite radio products that are planned for release during the second half of 2005.
