Eutelsat, the U.S. subsidiary of satellite operator Eutelsat S.A., inked a deal between its parent company and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) to deliver occasional-use capacity on three Eutelsat satellites for the upcoming 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. Financial terms were not disclosed. The three Eutelsat satellites that will cover the games are Atlantic Bird, e-BIRD and W3A.
