Digital+, the leading satellite pay-TV operator in Spain, ended the first quarter of 2004 with 1,732,000 subscribers. Sogecable (the owners of the Digital+ platform) launched the Digital+ service in July 2003. Sogecable CEO Javier Diez de Polanco said, “Commercial activities remained focused on adding subscribers to the new DIGITAL+ products,improving sharply previous profitability levels per customer, thanks to both increases in the average revenue from our clients and reductions in per subscriber costs.”
