CopyTele, [COPY], a Melville, N.Y.-based manufacturer of encryption based products, agreed to provide its technology for use with the Boeing-built [BA] Thuraya satellite communications network. Financial terms were not disclosed. Boeing will use CopyTele’s USS-900 for fax and/or voice encryption, and the DCS-1200 and 1400 for voice encryption. The use of encryption is expected to benefit Thuraya satellite customers who use the regional service in Iraq.
