Phoenix-based independent television station KTVK bought the skIP Broadband Communications System to combine the technical resources of Production and Satellite Services, a transportable uplink company, and The Spaceconnection, a provider of satellite space segment services. The skIP system offers dedicated phone lines, Internet connectivity, video streaming and high-speed data using a transportable uplink from anywhere in the continental United States via satellite.
