Performance Technologies [PTIX] executives today said mobile satellite communications systems developer Geolink is using PT’s SEGway 1100 SS7/IP Signaling Platform on its OceanCell GSM solution. OceanCell uses maritime satellite links to allow mobile phones on cruise ships and other water-traveling vessels to transmit IP-based SS7 signaling through a satellite link.
